OK i am back from the SL camp! Tired but worth it..
Monday cycled to school in the morning.. Reached school around 7.30am, settle some admin stuff on my JA side for the interview of the SLs, then after that open the back gate for the SLs to walk to their campsite. After that cycled out to the coffeeshop outside to have breakfast with Mr Rani, Jeremy and Ressal. After that cycled over to the campsite. Waited for our JA committee to come and we started the interview with the selected SLs together with Mr Toh, Mr Rani and Mdm Sarinah. Lunch at 12pm with the JA committee and Mr Rani and Mr Toh. After lunch go back, checked in to the chalets and continued with the interview all the way until dinner time, go out eat then continue again. Spend like 7-8 hours interviewing around 30 student. Identified out a few people as the Ex-Co. After that everyone went back, left with Mdm Sarinah and her family and me. Her family take one chalet while i take another chalet. 2 rooms, 4 beds, one living room and i sleep only. Haha..
I cycled home first to bathe and take clothings. John picked me up and we go to Railway mall there for supper with Harrison, Elina and her sister. Ate supper and after that John send all of us back. Arrived back at the chalet around 1am. I myself slacked in the chalet, watching TV, preparing the test paper for my tuition students etc. Managed to hold out till 2.45am and i watched the EURO match between Poland and Croatia. Slept for awhile and woke up at 7am again.
Second day, ensure that all students are present and send them off for their activity at Changi Coast, they boarded the bus and i went back to my bunk. Met up with John a little while after that and went back to Dunearn with him. Basketball C Girls supposed to have a friendly game at Toa Payoh Sports Hall, so went with them together with coach Michael, John and YingXue. Reached there then got some prob and in the end i think its cancelled and thus bus back to Dunearn again. Waste time. Reached back already, packed up and car down to IKEA with John, Faith, Sherlyn, Rachael and Tina. Ate lunch there then car back to CDANS campsite by John. THanks.
Slept awhile and my JA ppl came around 5Pm. Woke up, prepare stuffs for the BBQ later in the evening. Had a little chat and discussion with Marvin, Sabrina and Sohail. Ate dinner late. Thanks Desmond Lee for the Otah and Lyndia for the Nasi Lemak. Went over to watch the campfire performance by the Sec 3 SLs. Evening the teachers conducted their interview with the SLs and it ended late till 1am. OMG. We had a lot of fun chatting and playing and i guess it will be good for us JA to gather together. If possible i shall plan it more often. Around 11am plus everyone start to leave for home, only me, Jeremy, Harrison, Andrew and Kah Meng stayed overnight with Mr Rani, Ms Ho and Ms Lim. We taunt the night and watched the Italy VS France match at 2.45am. Slept after that and woke up today around morning 8am.
We packed up our chalet and took our things out and slacked outside for awhile before proceeding to the gathering place to eagerly wait for the announcement of the new Ex-Co. After interviewing them, i do had a few nominees in my mind and before the announcement, i was predicting the top 4, guessing Sohila, Jana, Benedict and LiMin. But at least i got 2 of them right! HAha.. To those elected as the new SL committee, congratulations and make sure u guys do well and bring dunearn to another greater height or i will bite u guys! HAha.. For those not chosen, dun be discouraged, u too can play your part and contribution to the school and prove us that you can lead too! After that went home, bathe and rushed down to Jurong Library to teach LiYuan they all tuition.. From 1.30 to 3.30, so tired!!!
I am contented with how we are now and i will be glad if we can move even closer to one another. I will not let you get hurt again if i have the chance and i wan to prove to u its not just words said, its a promise...
